Spoiler Alert, a breath of fresh air

Spoiler Alert by Olivia Dade was a breath of fresh air for me. Learning about fan fiction and a plus size girl getting THE handsome man. April was a well known fanfic writer under a pseudonym. Marcus was a loved actor who was thought to be just a pretty face. When April gets a date with him, she starts to see what really lies beneath his gorgeousness. When Marcus learns about April’s fanfics, he is intrigued. They continue their acquaintance. The story follows their ups and downs. And their happy ending?

Marcus and April’s story can bring tears to the eyes. April’s personality is a wonderful addition to this story. She is confident and spunky. She has problems like all of us, but is still confident. She is able to bring a side of Marcus out no one knew about. Her truthfulness and intrigue caught his eye. Marcus needed someone to bring him out of himself. Olivia wrote and entwined their stories and growth well.

Spoiler Alert was the first Olivia Dade book I read, and I fell in love with her writing. As a plus girl myself, her book gave me confidence. Over the years I have had three kids and medicine. My weight has increased and makes me uncomfortable in my own skin. Olivia has given me confidence again. I can trust when my husband tells me he still finds me attractive. That may always be the case, but it is for me. Read this!
