Ruthless Mate Dazzles

Jen has created a wonderful world in this first book. Ruthless Mate starts her The Marked Dragon Prince Trilogy. She created a world different from her previous series even though it also included Dragon Shifters. The new world has been interesting and creative. Everly is a premed student home for a visit. Her mom passed away years ago and her stepdad is a total (redacted). She has twin siblings, Eva and Elliot. Peter, horrid stepdad, had visitors when she came home. When she followed the angry voices, she found out that it included Drake. He was one of the more powerful men in the city. She found out that Peter got himself in trouble. She found out that to repay the debt, Peter had to return millions of dollars or Eva was to become Drake’s. Everly found Drake and took Eva’s place. When she ended up with Drake, due to Peter not helping, her life changed. She was kidnapped by someone named Thorn and her world changed.

The way dragon shifters are created is interesting. Jen spent time creating such a wonderful new world. It is very different from her previous world. I believe whoever decides to pick this book up, they will be thrilled and unable to put it down.

Jen L. Grey has become one of my favorite authors. Her Shadow City series is on my reread shelf. She has now started a new series using Dragon Shifters. I was thrilled when she announced it. Ruthless Mate is the first in the series. And it was wonderful. Dragon Shifters is a shifter group I didn’t think would be interesting to me.
